FC0-U71 5.0: Value of Data

Tech+ Topic

Value of Data for Tech+

There's a distinction between data and information: - Data: Raw facts and figures without context. Example: a list of temperatures 18, 21, 20, 19. Just numbers or symbols. Valuable as raw input from which information can be derived. - Information: Processed or organized data with context and meaning. Example: "Average temperature this week was 19.5C." Useful for decision-making.
